I joined CafeMom cuz another site I used was always full of trolls and just ridiculous. So I thought, "Hey, how about a site solely dedicated to mothers". I could come and ask for advice, share stories & laughs, and even learn a thing or 2. But WOW. I must say I'm a bit embarrassed of my gender.
I will never understand why moms post a question, yet bash to death anyone who doesn't share her viewpoint. Why are you even asking the question if you aren't open to the wide array of opinions? Why ask if you already have your mind set on the answer? The bickering, the arguing! We're no better than the CHILDREN we're trying to raise. We become the very essence we try and teach them NOT to be. As soon as we're behind the safety of a computer screen, an inner rage comes boiling to the surface.
I tend to stick to a couple of groups that I enjoy. But occasionally I venture out to my other groups and Q&A's. Every time I ask myself, "Why, why, why do you even try to see what else is out there?" It's complete chaos! Don't dare speak your opinion cuz you will be damned to hell. Please ladies, can't we all just get along? Be open-minded & non-judgemental? And just be MOMS?
