Blood Test Confirmation

So, everything is going to plan!  I had another blood test today (thankfully, she used a different arm...the last time they drew blood, I got some nasty bruising and look suspiciously like a drug addict), but she said everything looks good down there.  I freaked out a bit yesterday because I had some pink spotting--up until now it's only been brown.  But, the spotting has become minimal and I'm actually feeling not too bad today!  Mostly just tired, but I managed to clean my kitchen counters.  This is a big change from the past few days where moving from the bed to the couch took major effort.

My predicted due date is March 11, 2010! It was very exciting to learn that:)

I haven't told too many people yet, and we haven't told our families--I want to get to at least 8 weeks before that.  Still, I did tell my two best girlfriends and they are both so excited for me.  I want to tell everybody--but I know that it's prudent to wait.  Besides, if I tell my mother in law EVERYONE on the planet will know--so that's why we're keeping it under wraps.  She's been hinting (none-too-subtly) that she is looking forward to grandchildren.  When I say she's hinting, I mean she tells everyone who will listen. 

So, on the health front, my doctor reassured me that minimal spotting is still normal at this stage of the game.  I'll be five weeks on Thursday.  As long as it stays minimal and I don't have horrific cramps she doesn't think I have anything to worry about--and she said she'll see me in five weeks to do bloodwork and have a look at the baby!
