California to Tennessee

My longest road trip was from California to Tennessee with my 2 year old twins and my six month old. It was a three day trip that we made in two. We were making our big move to Tenn. so Matthew and I were in great moods which really helped us hold it together. The kids were great until it got dark and then the twins would want to go home, it was so sad because they couldn't understand that their home was actually changing. The first night we stopped at a hotel because I thought the kids would do better if they had a bed to sleep in. They refused to sleep in the strange place and so we decided to hit the road after showering and bathing the little ones. We drove the next day and into the evening before arriving in Tenn. The trip could have been so much more crazy but my kids were exceptional!!!!
