Its been an exciting week here! Cale, Grace, and Aalijah have all had some big moments.
Grace kicked off her week with a trip to urgent care. She was taking a nap (well, supposed to be anyway), and fell onto a metal part in her closet. She got a big gash on her back. Fortunately they where able to "glue" it back together. The doctor was pretty impressed with how good she sat still and just let her work, she said we could bring Grace back anytime since she was such a good patient. I am hoping we never have to bring her back though! :)
Cale decided that he wanted to be in charge of making dinner for a night. He recently got a "kids cook book" and was excited to put it to use. He picked out "bunny pancakes" to make for us for dinner and some worm cupcakes for dessert. Dinner was delicious, and he plans to make dinner once a week on Saturday nights. We may need to get him more cook books though, as he finds only the dessert recipes of interest in this one.
Aalijah weighed in with her excitement for the week on the scales at her one month appointment, 9 pounds 10 ounces. Three whole pounds more then her take home weight! She is already growing to fast for me!
Here are some pictures of all the excitement (a warning, showing pictures of Grace's boo boo and it isn't pretty!).
