Enlisting Your Help. For Dresses! Yay!

Ladies, ladies. . .I need your help.

Jon and I have (FINALLY) set a date! I can't tell you yet because I'm waiting for my Mom to get back from Israel so I can tell her first. Sorry =). What I can tell you is that it is the fall of this year---My Mom comes back this coming Thursday so you guys get to find out the actual date sometime after that.

So, I've been thinking...My Dad has told me that he could pay for a small ceremony and that's cool but I just don't know if that's what we'll do. I mean---I DO WANT a ceremony but for several reasons we're thinking about just going to the JP. And this is the help I need. . .

I'm wearing a dress regardless. A nice, pretty dress. But what would work for a wedding at the courthouse? Keep in mind that although it will be fall here in North Carolina it will probably still be warm. So, what ideas and pictures do you all have for me?

A small list, if it helps:

-I'm not super set on solid white. I figure I'll have two children by then- there isn't much 'virgin' left about me. I do feel it's every first time bride's right to wear white should she wish but I'm not against anything in offwhites or with a bit of color.

-Nothing slinky. Even if I were skinny slinky just would not work for me.

And other than that I'm open to any and all suggestions. =) Thanks, ladies.

 

 

PS: Also any suggestions period. If we do have an actual ceremony and reception I'll probably make another post to enlist your help for that.
