Finally!

So some of you ladies may have heard me complain about how my husband wouldn't get off his lazy ass and get a job. Well, Friday I called him from work. I had been crying to this high school kid I work with (hey, he reminds me of my old friends and he's easy to talk to and actually listens to people and gives good advice) and I was pretty much having panic attacks. We have like no money until Friday when I get paid. That guy at work actually bought me $10 in gas so I could make it to my mom's house to pick my baby up.

Anyway, I've been telling him I'm going to end up leaving and moving back in with my mom with our daughter if he doesn't at least make an effort to get a job. From work, I called my mom and asked her if this week would be ok withher for me and Lina to move in with her.She said it was fine. I called my husband and told him he had until Monday evening to have applications in with every place around here that was even just taking applications.

Next day, he was out almost all day picking up applications and filling them out. He went to this one place that was about 30 minutes away (it's a gas station owned by the same company as the place I work). He's known this place forever and has always liked it. Well, the guy there told him they only have 3 people (TOTAL!) working there right now. Well DH got an application and took it back today. Same guy was there and told him that they only had one other applicant and that chances were both of them would be hired. He goes Wednesday for an interview, and if he gets it he'll be going Thursday for orientation (probably), which he'll get paid for. We'll be getting paid at the sametime if he gets this job, but he'll be getting like 30+ hours a week and I'll get about 15-20 (our hours got cut bad). Finally! Finally I may be able to sleep without having nightmares about my family starving or something.

congrats. ya !!!! i  was going thou the same ting with my hubby. even if he dont get the job at  least he is finally making a effort

since you have the internet you should get set up with a referral program.  I make about 1000.00 monthly; it helps with our expenses and it costs nothing.
