So the other night I put Jason to bed in his room around 9:30. I must tell you I am super excited that he even went to bed at this time because we are just now getting back on to a normal schedule. You see, my husband had been on night shift for almost a year and because of this my kids used to stay up late at night so they would sleep in in the mornings so he could get atleast a few hours of peace and quiet to sleep.
Anyways, Jason and Clayton share a bedroom. They have ever since Clay Clay was old enough to sleep in a crib. They usually both sleep in there but on occasion one or both of them sleeps in my bed. (Another bad habit that started while Andy was working nights. I'm guilty, I wanted them in the bed with me. hehe) Well this particular night Clayton was in my room sleeping with Andy. They all go to bed a few hours before me, I gotta have some me time!
It was around 11 or so and I hear Jason starting to stir in his bed. And then all of a sudden I hear him start to fuss and call out "Clay Clay! Clay! Clay!" At this point I can tell he is pretty upset because he is basically crying and calling out for his brother so I go in and comfort him and get him calmed down enough to talk to me. I ask him if he wants to sleep with Clayton and he says "Yes!"And so I brought him into lay down beside his little brother and all was well with the world.
I thought it was the cutest thing ever!! For as much as they bicker and fight during the day I know they absolutely adore each other and would be lost without each other.
