Joining the Mothers for Liberty has been a good decision for me.
It is a difficult thing when you're a mom that just happens to be a lesbian, to find a place in society where you fit comfortably. So, you find yourself holding back in social situations with most other moms because you just don't know how to relate very well. This group has given me the opportunity to reach out and share without my life-style becoming the, "800 pound gorilla", in the room. These ladies made me feel at home and comfortable from the very beginning. They're just great company to be around.
I started out over in Libertarian Moms group. I have discovered that most of us, are in fact, either Libertarian or Independent politically. We do have a few Democrats and Republicans in the mix too. But, this group really isn't about being, "politically correct". We have moms from every spectrum of life's kaleidoscope wheel.
It doesn't matter if you're Atheist or Pagan. You can be Agnostic or Christian. You can be Gay or Straight. It really doesn't matter. We all have something to offer and share with each other and this group is proof that it can be done. We are doing it right now. We are all moms who love our children and want what is best for our families.
So, if you're interested come on over and check us out. We are gearing up to celebrate our one year birthday soon! You are more than welcome to join us! Just click on the link below!

Comments:
We Mothers for Liberty certainly are a kaleidoscope of backgrounds and beliefs, and come from all "ages and stages" of mothering ... but together we make a dedicated group of mamas, working on a grassroots level to educate ourselves, our children and our communities about the benefits of what we like to call Radical Responsible Mothering.
we are a very diverse group of women supporting each other. we may not agree with each other on every topic but we do agree that responsibility for ourselves and our families is very important and we also agree that we need freedom & liberty to maintain that. by going out into our communities we are listening, we are talking and we are becoming involved.
the revolution begins at home, it begins with us mothers!
i am PROUD to say that i am a radical responsible mother !!
