What I Have Been Up Too

Well, I am taking time out of my busy life to make another journal entry. For the past three weeks, we have been in revival on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday Nights. We had a youth rally to practice for that was in Meridian  last Friday Night. It was my Sunday School Class that was putting on the presentation. They all did a wonderful job. I am very proud of them. They ended up having to do it one more time for our church this past Sunday Night. It was beautiful. The song that was played for their presentation was "Go Light Your World", it is a very beautiful song. They walked down the aisles with their white gloves on and holding a candle (battery operated). They made their way in front of the blue lights, all of the lights in the church was turned off, where the gloves was glowing. They had a standing ovation and we are very proud of them.

Yesterday they enjoyed swimming at my pastor's house. Just the smaller kids and their mom's. We had a great time. Thank God the weather didn't get bad like we thought it was going too. Even though it was cloudy, I still managed to get burnt on my face....lol.

Well, on top of all of the church activities, I have also been trying to work on a baby shower gifts. The baby shower is on Saturday. We also got invited to a wedding Saturday evening that we are going to be going too also.

Friday, I was invited to a housewarming party of a friend of mine. Her and her husband just got into their own place now...so I will be going to that Friday.

I know we are going to be back in revival Sunday, Monday and Tuesday again next week.

I love going to church and all, but I am ready for a break to relax and enjoy some time with my kids, before they go back to school on August 6th. I would like to take them to the zoo, one Saturday before school starts back.

Oh well, I am sick with a sore throat and ear ache today, so I guess I am going to get off of here and work somemore on baby shower gifts. We was suppose to go to another church tonight, but hubby said, we wasn't going to go tonight. Due to being in church all the time here lately, things has gotten backed up around here. Lawn mowing, laundry...everything. So we are staying in and getting stuff done around here. I will most likely lay around today though, because I feel horrible.
