When you teach, you learn something.

I interviewed two people today for an opening at work, and both of them happened to say this to me today.  I knew instantly that I agreed with them.  The more posts I write, the more I am forced to read, explore and learn more in order to keep up with my goal of 5-8 posts per week.  I set out to teach science on Cafemom, but yet I am learning as if I am the student.

Thank you for the excellent response I have had to these journals.  It provides a reason for me to work so hard on them.

This is why I LOVE being a teacher because it really means I love being a student. :-) Keep up the great work, Tonya!

When I read this I thought the same thing as arthistmom... that is one of the reasons I teach!  I never understood math as well as when I have to teach it and answer some off the wall question.

I love reading your posts.. they are a lot of fun!
