I spent most of the day at my mother in laws. She is so awesome to us. She put her back out this week and she was in a lot of pain. She cooked dinner and I surprised her and clean up the kitchen up for her.
I got a call today, about a job, while I was there. Not having the money to buy nice office clothes, She started pulling clothes out of her own closet and said," Try this on!" I did and she said," It is yours." I was shocked but she has given me so much over the years. I now have 5 outfits and three pairs of shoes to wear to work if I get the job.
I have worked for her in the past. She is a wonderful boss.
I have talked to her about things I would not talk to my own mother about. After watching her make dinner, I relized she isnt getting in younger. Neither am I for that matter.
She has helped us through many things. I wish she wouldn't get older but, I know I can't stop time.
She and her son,(my dh of 20 years) have helped me become the lady I am today. I know it will be a truely sad day when she pases.
I hug her every time I see her. She treats me with respect and like a daughter she never had. ( My dh is the youngest of 5 boys.) So, I treat her like a MOM.
So when you complain about how you feel, just look at your elders, and think,"Boy, have we got it made compared to when you were young."
