Been gone for a while

Been gone since Oct, taking  care of other priorities.  Things have been kind of crazy around  here, and I've been busy trying to straighten my life out and figure out what I want to do from here.

A lot has happened here since we had originally moved back in Oct of 07.

The kids are good, we had some rough spots with school and not getting the services and the help that they need.  We've been homeschooling since Dec 18.  Gabe has made major leaps in learning since then.  He now knows all of his letters and can count to 10 (before only knew reliably 5-6 letters and could only count to 4).  He's enjoying learning now, and everyday is a chance to pick up a new skill or improve an existing one.

There was a falling out between my b-i-l and hubby so we ended up moving July 30 of 08.  The house is a little bigger, but a smaller yard and not fenced.

My younger sis moved in Oct of 08 to Missouri.  She came back to visit for a weekend in Feb.

Mike and I are doing well, after a bad month in Feb and a hard few weeks in Mar and April.  He was very sick for most of Feb, sick enough to be on FMLA for most of the month. 

In March was our 12th anniversary and also Gabe's 8th birthday.  And my dad finally got back in touch with us after 6yrs of not knowing where he was.  He's remarried (wife #4), and is doing well.  We've seen him 6 or 7 times since March 16th when he called. 

In April Mike was fired for too many absences at work, but was rehired a week later.  It was also a good friend's 29th b-day and another friend's 30th.

May was the twins 10th b-day and Adrian's 2nd, and a friend's 24th, and my nephews 9th.  And dad's stepson's 18th b-day.

This past Jan 4th was 3 yrs since grandpa passed.

June 1st was 9 yrs since a dear friends mom passed from cancer.

And, July 15 made 4 yrs since my grandma passed away.

That brings us up to date I think.  Looking forward to posting more on here again and being able to catch up with my old friends on here.
