Can you help me Find my Brother I never met? *UPDATE @ bottom*

My father, who is ass hole, no really he is. he's a drunk, who is verbally abusive, addicted to gambling along w/ the booze, and much more but that's not what this post is about.

 Anyways he told my mother (who is divorced from my father, thank God) many years ago that he had fathered a child with another woman (this was long before him and my mom met). I don't know much but I'm gonna give you what i know because I'd really like to find and meet him. I'm hoping since cafemom is world wide someone might know something. Could you please vote this popular and give a bump so more people will see it and I'll have a better chance of finding him? Thank you so much...here's the info I have.

My father who is Hispanic/Jewish, fathered a child with a Black woman (so he would be Bi-Racial). They lived in New York at the time they were together. Her and her family moved back to puerto rico and she had the baby their, he was a boy. She named him after my dad. My father's name is Terry Micheal Alvarado. I don't know if she used his first or  middle name for the boys name though, I also don't know what last named she used. He would probably be in his late 30's now (guessing).

I'm sorry, I know it's not much to go on but I'd really like to find him. If you know anything you can either leave a comment here or send me a message, I'd appreciate is so very much.

I've had a few people ask me why I haven't asked my father for more info, hopefully this response I posted to one mom will maybe explain it. Thank you everyone who has been voting this up, for your prayers, advice, and ideas. Hopefully I'll find him one day.

I haven't because of the type of person my father is. He is obsessed with getting to me and my children (my sister as well). If I ask him he will try to black mail me and say he'll tell me if I let him see my kids. He has never met them, talk to them, or had a pictures of them...and NEVER will!!! He is a unmediated Bi-Polar  who is verbally (and once in a while physically) abusive, drinks A LOT, and has many other issues. This is the first time in my whole life he has left me alone for 3 months and I'm hoping he continues to do so (probably won't but a girl can dream right?) and if I contact him I'll never hear the end of it. He doesn't even know that I know. My mom told me, he didn;t want her to. So if I said something he would call her up and scream and yell at her also. I know that they were in BROOKLYN NEW YORK and I think (not sure) he was 17 at the time.
