Well, today was my step-daughter's baby shower. Well, she sent out 22 invitations, and the only one that showed up was me, my 8 year old daughter, and my step-daughter's Mother-on-law. That was it....some party huh? Well, we ate, talked, she opened the few gifts that we brought to her, and that is it. I could tell she was disappointed, because she went through all of this planning it out and making her own invitations and everything. I feel bad for her.
Here is a list of things that she got.
I made her a plastic canvas picture box frame, a small box to put baby brush, comb, pacifiers..stuff like that in, I also made it out of plastic canvas. My son, wanted me to give her a blanket that was his when he was a baby, so we did that. My daughter got her a brush and comb set.
Her mother-in-law got her two Tigger outfits, and socks.
Her father-in-law sister dropped off a diaper bag, shoes, and a blanket.
That's it! Her mother-in-law is talking about throwing her just a diaper shower in a couple of weeks....that way she will be stacked up with diapers for a while. Let me remind you, she has a one year old daughter that is still in diapers, so having a diaper shower is really going to help in this occassion.
Well, I am going to end here. I am sorry that I don't have any pictures to share, but I went off and completely forgot my camera, so we didn't have any pictures of the shower.
Catch you next time on my journal.
Have a nice day.

That is AWFUL! I would send a note to each of the invites that did not rsvp or show up. This happened to us for my sons birthday party. I was so angry that I REFUSE to show up to anyone else's kids parties, and I dont rsvp to them either. I also posted on my page that I found them all to be completely rude and inconsiderate.
