My poor Brother in Law!

Oh man, do I just feel so bad for him right now. It has NOT been his year, well at least not the last couple months.

You may remember me writing about his OUI? Well courts done with that, he in on probation for a year, he has a shit ton of fines to pay, and he has to take an alcohol abuse/driving course. He got let off easy. He wont even have a conviction on his record, what he received was a Continuance With Out Finding... just like I said he would :) His truck was totalled and he got VW Jetta..

Anywho, he met this girl whom he adores. She has a daughter, whose 4 months older than Becka. She's adorable. He really likes her, it's young love. It's amazing and I am so happy for him. 

Last night, they were all asleep and her ex husband broke in. Not only that but he went into the room where Bob and Tiff were sleeping, yanked Bob out of bed, beat him up, and then beat the hell out of Tiff. The daughter of course woke up. Tiff has a concussion and some fractured ribs. He called us at 4 am and it's the only time neither of us woke up to his phone ringing :( I felt terrible. Not only that but the guy shattered the windows in Bobs new car!

I can NOT believe this. This man is being charged with 2 accounts of assault and battery, breaking and entering and destruction of proporty.

I just want to drive to MA and be there for them. I can not believe there are people like this in the world. She is NOT newly divorced, they have been for a long time.... it's terrible. The ex was just over there a few days ago to visit the daughter, no fighting nothing?!

Apparently this isn't the first incident. BUT the cops say social services needs to be involved because the daughter was there and they also said "worst case scenario" is that Tiff loses her daughter, and her mother gets custody, and Tiff would have to move out : / WTF? She did NOTHING wrong... So now Tiff not only has to worry about the crazy ex husband, but losing her daughter? Could things be any more ass backwards?

UGGH. I seriously just want to pack a bag and go to them. But a 16 hour or so drive alone with a toddler and newborn and no money isn't the smartest idea.

Wow. It's not fair that Tiff would be punished because her ex is jealous and crazy. If he found out her daughter was somewhere else, what would stop him from going there and causing trouble? I can vaguely see the logic but it's not that great.

Awh that is so sad. I know how you feel. It is terrible when you want to be there for someone and you are so far away. But he is lucky to have you guys, even if you aren't physically close enough to help.

Yeah that does suck hardcore..Im sorry to hear about your brother and girlfriend.  MA laws do suck I agree, and whats worse is he (the ex) will probably get no more of a conviction then your bro for his dui.  Good luck to them both.
