the doctors mistake could have killed my daughter

okay so I had a stroke and some other health issues that I am still trying to recover from. So the same time this happens my sister moves me to the town she lives in so she can help. Okay so my daughter is home she wuz gone visiting family while I wuz in the hospital. Some info my daughter wuz born with a rare medical conditon.

Okay so Monday morning my daughter wakes up around 5 in the mourning complaining of her throat hurts she is running a fever and her ear hurts. look in her throat and she has a huge puss pocket on her tonsils. My sister could not change my daughters doctor cause she is not there legal gaurdian. So I call my sister and she is like okay I will take her in to the er. First cause we no longer live were her regular doctor is. and the other doctors can not take her at the moment cause of her insurance.

My daughter wuz also getting spots on her face and that is a sign that she is sick and needs medical care. her condition makes her get sick fast and if it is not taken care of asap she usually ends up in the hospital.

So my sister takes her cause I am on complet bed rest. 

This hospital has never seen my daughter or heard of her condtion. So back to the point my sister takes her everything went fine. Well we thought. My daughter is severally allergic to pinicilen and anything like it. It will kill her. My sister told the doctor that several time.

So the doctor tells my sister that my daughter has tonsilities and a ear infection and prescribes her a new antitobotic that I have never evan heard of.

So my sister leaves and goes to Wal]greens to fill her medicine. and thankyou God for showing the Pharmacist that the medicine wuz a pinicilen family member there is a showing on there computer database that there is a 10% chance that my daughter would have a reaction to it.

Okay I am not willing to take that 10% percent chance on it may killing my child. But obviosly the doctor wuz okay with it.

So my sister comes back and tells me what happened.

My thing is if the pharmist would have not caught that my daughter could have died cause she would have been given this medicine.

So everyone please be carefull when you take your child to the Shawnee Hospital in Shawnee Oklahoma. cause the doctors are willing to chance your childs life. I know happened to me.\

I dragged my self out of bed and went to see this doctor and I could not see him but I did talk to the administrator and she apologized right away and got a new script for my daughter that is what she usually takes when she has this kind of problem. and she said she would tell the doctors boss and talk to the doctor. so I dont know if they did but I wish I could have talked to him so I could tell him to his face that he almost killed my child if the mistake had not been caught.

Now I am hurting and I should have not gotten out of bed. My doctor would be mad at me. But I had to for my daughter and hopefully make a difference so some other family will not have to indure the same thing or worse loss a loved one that is irreplacable.
