whens it going to end.........

Ok I have to vent..... I live in florida and my electric bill is usually in the mid 200.00 range. well "lucky" me what did I see on this months bill... a big whoppping total of   $617.00 !!!!!  wtf... and they go on to say that this is correct and what we owe..please. I have not done anything different this month than any other month.. anyone  else encountering this on your bills????  fyi , my home is only 1300sq ft. under roof... not that large huh?  just absolutely outrageous.

I swear ours has tripled over the last few months its not just you. We have Progress Energy, who do you have? I even went online and compared our bill from last year and no difference in amount of electricity used, personaly I think the power comps jack our bills up during the summer and at christmas time, but its my opinion lol

Its sad because they know we need power (well we may not "need" to have power but I sure as hell dont want to live without it) so I guess we are stuck paying outrageous electric bills.
