living with bipolar

It seens like a never ending battle. Between the bipolar and the anxiety it is so difficult. I think my daughter may have it as well, she is 23 around the same age I was when they realized I was bipolar. She seems to have alot of the same issues I did then. I'm trying to get her to go get checked out but she isn't real keen on the idea. I think she is scared I know that I deal with fear all the time from mine. It seems like they get a med that finally works for me and then a few months later it stops working. I just wish this cycle would stop. Is there ever going to be anything that doesn't stop working after just a few months? I am just so frustrated with it all.

Hi!! I am a rapid cycling medication resistant bi-polar. basically i have the worst form there is. meds rarely if ever work for me long term. I had to take on serious heavy duty cognative therapy to get a grip on this disease. You are sooo not alone! and if you ever need to PM me please feel free to do so. maybe some of my answers might help you!!
