I'm thankful for not having boobs thrown in my face all the time by offensive and indecent breastfeeding mothers like the ones below:

Wait...Well, this is a bad example. Let's try again.

Hmm...Just a minute. I'm sure I can find better ones than these...

Eh, still not offensive enough. I'll check one more time.

That is better. LOOK AT THAT! I see about a half inch of boob. DISGUSTING.

UGH. Look at that indecency! She must be from some third world country to be exposed like that!

Now that's just...There are no words to descripe how inappropriate that is. Something needs to be done!

But why stop at breasfeeding women? There are boobs everywhere. Beware! If you thought the above photos were offensive, you WILL DEFINITELY be offended by the photos below.

Not this one, though. This one was in plain view on news stands and in mail boxes in 19 countries world wide!

Not this one, either. This one actually won an award!

Oh, and I guess this one is fine too. Everyone knows you can't sell jeans without someone being topless.

Or beer, for that matter.

Or sunglasses.

Or movie tickets.

Or CDs...

You know what? Maybe I'm crazy, but I think that someone mixed up some photos here. The first batch are offensive, but the second batch are just fine and dandy???

Ugh, dammit. Just follow the link to see Lady Gaga's cover. She's mostly naked except for a few precariously placed bubbles.

Yeah.... I breast fed (many years ago) and I never thought it was offensive. I was proud to breast feed. I just wanted my privacy . Have we discussed this issue before? Hmmmm? Deja Vue?

this reminds of a few years ago when one of my parenting magazines put a picture of a baby nursing on its cover. I don't remember which magazine it was.  I couldn't believe the uproar it caused.  I didn't even realise what it was picture of myself, after I found out the controversy I had to go back and find that issue to look at the cover again.   One women even wrote in calling it pornography and saying that she couldn't believe they would be so irresponsible and now she couldn't even read it because she couldn't leave it lying around the house because her husband would see it.  I blew my mind that some of the women were so sensitive.  And it was was a magazine about babies and moms and they talked about nursing all the time. I guess its okay to talk about but not show.  it was just a little babies head with some skin you really had to assume it was a boob because you could hardly see any of it and it was the only part of the mother it showed.  I will never understand why its such a big deal to some people

you rockI was a discrete breastfeeder and didn't mind covering my son with a nursing cover (where I could clearly see his face), but that was my preference and I completely support any woman's right to breastfeed in public.  And I think this post is awesome and right on.  It's not the breast that offends people-- if you were walking down the street with it hanging out you'd probably get applause-- it's the child attached to it that they have a problem with.  :-(

Madismom315, would you want to eat your meal in the bathroom? A woman shouldn't have to go to the bathroom to feed her child. Look at the pic in the OP of Janet Jackson.... she is showing more boob than what the BFing mom at your church was... you pretty much made a big hypocrite of yourself, sweetie.
