It was a nice calm evening last night, as my SO and I sat on the porch and enjoyed the cool air. My son was asleep, and it was the first time all day we had some time to enjoy each other's company.
He enjoyed his cigarette, as I looked over across the way to a neighboring field.
"Penny for your thoughts?" my SO asked me.
"Oh!" I startled back into reality. "I was just thinking about what to do about everything. There is still so much I need to do.:"
He rolled his eyes at me and continued with his smoke. I looked around the neighborhood. Dogs barked in the distance, a light went on in a neighbor's home down the road. I gazed up into the night sky.
"So, what's our first agenda for tomorrow?" My SO asked me, again interrupting my thoughts.
"Well, I am going to need for you to give me a pedicure. Then, when your done, you need to work on the car a bit, so get nice and greasy. After that, we'll want to hit up a pawn shop and a liquor store," I said to him.
Without so much of a blink, "Sounds good!" He exclaimed.
I leaned back in my chair, with the points adding up in my head as the Candy Apple Pussycats, get closer to victory in the ::Last Call:: Scavenger Hunt 2.
