So ashamed

All the kids at school have seen me drinking soy milk, refusing cheese, refusing hot dogs, and refusing anything  processed or a by product. I stopped eating it a lot because of allergies and have even taken on the nickname of vegetarian from the kids.

Well every once in a while I get into this huge craving for meat. And people like to tell me "Oh it is because you haven't been eating it" no it has nothing to do with the vitamin loss. I only have like two periods a year and when one of those periods comes closer I go feral when I smell meat.

The rarer the better! Make mine bleeding and mooing!

And if you get in my way I will bite you along with my burger as I snarl and hiss. Because I can go all year long without eating meat and not having a care in the world. But when those periods hit... back up!

So I walked into class the other day snarling and digging into my burger like my dogs do a juicy bone. The "mean" girls in my class backed up slowly and debated on calling animal control. One of my friends had to pipe up "Hey I thought you were a vegetarian" I had to inform them of my situation and then my friend asked "So all this not eating meat catching up with you?" UMMMM NO!

But in my feral state I just gave her the evil glare and made my way to my seat. One of the girls then said "If you are vegetarian why are you eating meat?"

I am a flexitarian Meany heads! I do eat meat sometimes but only when my period is looming like a scary banshee off in the distance. So if you hear a high pitch shrill and the stink of death... that is just my period coming to visit.

I love doing the vegetarian life I just wish I could get around craving these burgers when it comes around.

LOL I hear ya. I STILL sometimes like the smell of BBQ but I just cant eat it. I read this book called "stiff" and it has nothing to do with animals but it just reinforcedmy non meat eating ways. It goes step by step through the process of putrification (of bodys on the body farm) and it was worse then some of the animal rights stuff I read.
