I believe I'm starting to have the first-time-mom-jitters now...Wednesday afternoon I went in to my doctor's office for an check-up a week before my actual appointment was because I had called in telling them that he has not been moving or very active lately, or not like he has been in the past. It was strange because I'm used to him always moving around and feeling him kick all the time! So, when he declined in doing so for about four days, I finally called and they had me come in and gave me a stress test, now I thought I wasn't far enough along to have this done since it's usually done around the 38th week of pregnancy I believe, but they strapped me with these things and kept me on the monitor for half an hour while David sat right beside me listening to our son's heartbeat.
It was strange because even in the lying down position he had moved all the way from one side of my belly to the other and I had not felt him move - the only reason we could tell was because the heartbeat was very faint, in the distant-like on the monitor. But doctor's eased my comfort by telling me the heartbeat looked good on the stress test and there isn't nothing to worry about, even though i'm really not getting too much movement still like before. I'm just wondering if in some way he's able to move and go undetected? My grandmother assures me everything is fine and it's just because he's floating around in the amniotic sac that enables him to do that...or am I just being too much of a worry-wart?
I really am wanting my little pumpkin to be okay, even though some of his moves are detectable, I would like them to be how they were before but then again I guess it could be because of his size of why he's not able to be detected so easily. All I need to get through these last three months is the support from my family and being able to talk to my friends, although it helps to talk to those who've been pregnant before because they understand more of what you're going through than those who've never been pregnant.
I know my little man can make it, he's a champ!

Your just goin to be a good mama! :-) it's normal to worry like that. Remember too that as you get further along the baby will move less because he doesn't have much room! I freaked out the same way and called the doctor too with my first pregnancy... The doctor said Rylie just didn't have room to move as much as he had been because he was growing! Good luck girl!
