Save a Man's Life, Get some Goodies, and Keep a Father with his son!

I don't do journals very often. I am most certainly not the kinda person who 'solicits' often. I do tryto donate to charities, sell things for charity etc.

This is important.

The handmade community is a very tight knit one and I am disgusted and saddened that I may lose a friend, artisan, and great man.

Larry Hamm, is a friend, artisan and father who lost his health insurance due to his wife making a whooping 30 bucks too much. How insane is that? What makes this especially scary is if Larry does not get a 17k surgery, he has less than 18 months to LIVE. TO LIVE. Larry is a husband and father to an 8 yr old sweet little boy named Jacob.

What would you do if you or your spouse, mother, father, son, daughter was told they had only 18 mos to live and then the system that is supposed to HELP u, TAKES AWAY the very health care that is supposed to KEEP US ALIVE! Not only can Larry not afford to care for his basic health, but he has diabetes and has a YOUNG SON who he may be FORCED to leave because he can't get this surgery!!???

What would you do? How would you feel if you knew you had a COUNTDOWN on your life!?

He can also call the news and see if any doctor will be willing to do it for him for free. It has happened before..

I got an email that this post was inappropriate bc it should have been in marketplace. If I offended anyone I'm sorry but Im not SELLING stuff I"m talking life and death. So if you flagged it, go hug your kids and be greatful that its not YOU in this situation! Meanwhile we can SAVE this man!
