Men never change, despite what you may do or say to help them!!

Perfect example is my hubby Mike.  Just yesterday I was so sick that I slept in until 2 pm.  I got up and nearly threw up because my head was still spinning.  So I sat back down for a minute and tried to get up again.  My cheeks were flushed and I was sick to my stomach, still so I went to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face.  Then I went to the kitchen.  Dishes were still not done from my birthday the day before so I started filling the dishpan with hot soapy water.  I heard him come in the door and when I went to turn around I had to grab onto the wall to keep my balance.  He took one look at me and said 'You look awful, go lay back down'.   I said, 'but I have so much to do' he said 'don't worry about the dishes, I'll do them, just go lay down. Do you need anything?'  I told him I would like some chicken noodle soup with some crackers.  Well, he made it alright but he added another can to make more noodles in the bowl and didn't bother to add enough water so it was super salty!  I told him so, and he said he put 1 1/4 cup water in 2 cans of soup!!  Don't men read labels?  It says 'add one can of water' and that was for just 1 can.  Its CONDENSED SOUP not just heat and eat soup!!  I know that he can't be that dense that he can't read a stupid label on a can of soup.  He has made me soup before and done the same stupid thing!!  Its not 'oodles of noodles' dumbass its chicken noodle condensed soup!!

Got that straightened out then he proceeds to do only half the dishes and leaves a dishpan full of dirty water in the sink and left some unrinsed forks and cups on the side not even bothering to rinse them off and putting them in the drain board!!  I shouldn't have to go behind a grown man and finish his half-assed job for him!!  I hate it when he leaves dirty dishes for me after he has 'cleaned' them!!  Most of the time I have to put the fork or bowl back into wash it again!! I swear to God, one day he is going to make me sicker than I am right now with botulism or salmonella!!

I have been married only 2 1/2 yrs. to this man but we have been together a total of 5 1/2 yrs and you would think that he knows me by now and how I keep my kitchen!!  And you would think that he knows where things go?  NOOOO, not him!! He just puts it where ever and when I want it the next time I have to go hunting for the darn thing before I can begin to put a recipe together!!

And the only thing I got for my birthday from him was a cake, no present!!  Not even a real card to put in my hand, but a e-card that I opened in my email!!  I even had to make my own birthday dinner, and my own breakfast, not the usual breakfast in bed that my daughter's make when they are here for my birthdays. 

I always think of my hubby if he's not feeling well and always do for him, but do you think he could do that for me without asking me or waiting for me to tell him what I want?  When he knows I'm not feeling well, he hardly ever checks on me, to make sure I am still breathing or even brings me something to drink!!  I got so dehydrated one time when I was so sick I couldn't get outta the bed, that I had to be rushed to the hospital!!  Doesn't he care for me like I do for him anymore?  Why does he play this game with me?  It drives me crazy!!

lol sorry I had to laugh thats men in general for ya.  When they are sick its the end of the world and they want to be treated like babies.  Now when we are sick they still expect us to we superwoman and do everything like normal and no worries about us, I think they are stupid to this that we can't do everything no matter how much they think we can.

By nature, men are not nourshing.  they think they are, but they aren't. they do thier best but nothing beats how a Mom would care for you.
