Maisah's Journal

Chatting, Sharing, Venting, Laughing,

I know I am late with this but I have been thinking about this for years... and it is funny that this wound up being on the the topics... who would have ever guest that someone else was thinking the same exact same thing...

If I had this blessing I would build homes for my family, we are Muslim so it would be a Islamic community but , but...I would allow non-Muslims to live on a portion of the land that I would have set up with the understanding that we pray 5 times a day with the Athan (Call for prayer) being announced and that would have to be something that they agree and understand... for it is loud. I am sure they would like their homes within our community... drug free, crime free... I would prefer they be older couples.. hey would have a lil gated community at the end of the plot or so off to the side... with their on pool...they can share the parks with us or their own park...

I would have a school/day care for the kids ( DC... $400 a mo, School age $ 500 with the price adjusting up slightly with each additional child) with a library and a free public library with an addition of Islamic books... the school would have a program called student exchange where the parents would be able to volunteer for their kids to go to the school at a reduced fee or free for those whom can not afford to pay.

I would have 3 parks one for the males and the other for the females/kids...both with pools and the 3rd park will be a community park for families and community pic-nics...this one would be near the lakes in between the lakes with the lakes forming a triangle sorta...would love a pier off of them. The pool for the women would be indoors... I would have a grocery store all with  Halal meets that we would get from the community farm and veggies from the community garden... nothing in the markets will coast a lot for the community will be the ones to help in the rearing of the animals and garden...I would have a store like Walmart....but called Halalmart...lol with Islamic clothing and reg clothing, toys, bikes, accessories (all what you would find in a tipical Walmart but with Arab,Islam, Muslim influence(food, spices, clothing, I think you get the drift)  ...veggies would cost round about 25. - $1.00 lb or $1.00 - $2.00 a bucket, watermelon $5.00. Meats... I really have not thought about the price... but chicken like 59. 69. a lb, beef, $3.00 up a lb, goat same and lamb the same... the fish free from the lake...flowers... $1.00 - $5.00 depending what the flower is.. like the roses would cost the most..ex

I would have a Masjid, and  3 Garden style plots for double/single wide trailer home parks i would try to have one with 25 home and the others with 40 homes...with the rent being $400.00 for 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom $475.00 and 3 and up bedrooms costing $500.00, $575.00 and w/d hook up $625.00. I would like to have rooms/studios available for the singles too ( just something I just thought of)$80.00 week...they would be solar paneled so the elc bill and heating/air bill will cost $0.00. I would have 3 lakes stocked with fish... the community can fish and enjoy the benefits with their families... recreation for the kids all year long free... we would have security, some are paid and some would work for sudiqa (charity)for the sake of Allah...to keep the community safe... every one will look out for the community... I would have people from the community helping with the gardens, parks with their hard work this is what keeps the community thriving, safe, beautiful and the cost of their rent down...I would like to have a theme park with lots of fun rides for the kids and families fee ranging from $5.00 - $20.00  ...plus and some restaurants...all halal ( which owners would have to pay rent on their space). I know this sounds a lot and I know I may have to down size depending on the size of the land given and money given...there would be a community hand book so all will know how it is ran and what is expected from all... along with their lease...

Well now all of you beauty queens see my lil vision...
