Just sharing my happy news........

I HAVE A HOUSE!!! 

For five weeks I have been staying in the Women's Shelter for battered women, and saving my money to start our life over again.  Finally, I found a home that I love, and I am excited about moving into it this coming Friday.  The deposit is paid, and my lease is in the process of being written up.  It is all electric with central air and heat, 2 bedrooms, with a living room and a den that I can use a huge master bedroom, one bath, newly updated and remodeled with french doors, and even a stone fire place.   The neighborhood is awesome, being close to my children schools, daycare, and my job.  To top it off the landlord is only charging me 650.00 a month, this is a miracle because you can not find a home like this around here for less than 900.00 a month. 

Funny story, when I first called the landlord about the house early last week she said that she had many rent homes around the area, and she was not looking to get rich off of them.  She then said, "I hope you don't mind the pale yellow color, with red doors and trim, because I painted all of my houses the exact same way to attract "Good Fortune"".  I said, "Really, well it looks like you found her, because my last name is Fortune".  We both laughed out loud.  She said, "This is a sign from God, and  I hope it blesses you with "Good Fortune".
