A note on dog food...

Ok so I am kind of a crusader for awareness of the pet food industry, and what kind of toxins its allowing the general public to pump into our beloved furry babies. Not a whole lot of people really care that our dogs and cats are eating other dogs and cats, roadkill, garbage, carcinogens (cancer causing agents), and a whole bunch of fillers and dyes that cause allergic reactions. Or is it just that not enough people are educated? Ok well anyways here is a website where you can look up your brand of dog food you use and get a breakdown and review of whats in it. It goes by stars, 1-6, 1 being the worst. For example, Beneful, a widely popular brand is a one star dog food due to low quality meat, (the protein cant even be digested) and a bunch of fillers like corn that just cause the dog to have high blood sugar and allergic reactions. Not to mention dyes which make the food palatable to humans. So you say ok, Beneful is bad. But did you know that Science Diet is also a 1 star food along with Kibbles n Bits? Why pay 30 bucks more for the same garbage? Because it makes giant corporations big money. Well folks, I've said my piece. Thankyou for reading !!!

wow i feed my dog Beneful and did not know this info. i suppose looking at the ingredients would educate me. so what food is good for our dogs?
