Well I must say my husbands cat. Tiger has been a part of our lives for about 6 years now. I came home last night and knew he was gone just didnt say anything bc dh loves him so much and I figured maybe he was just hiding.

Well today there is still no sign of him anywhere. He has never been outside but for the past week or more he has been trying so hard to excape our house everytime the door opens. I think when dh and our youngest ds came home yesterday that ds let him out and Tiger took off.

I keep telling myself he will come home and that everything will be fine. But I have also heard that when a cat is getting ready to pass on they will try and hide. I dont know if that is true or anything I just know that he has been acting really strange for around a week or maybe a little more.

Now keep in mind that my cat Tickles got taken a while back and still has not been returned. We believe with all our hearts that Tickles was taken because he was just such a sweet cat and all the kids around here loved him.

Just remember my dh in your thoughts and prayers he loved that cat and often referred to him as his son. This will be hard on him and Im at a loss of what to do for him.

That is Tiger on the left and Tickles on the right. They loved each other very much.

That is dh with Tiger.

Sorry to just now be updating this. He did come home on Monday morning. I was thankfull that he did and picked on him and told him he should have went and found Tickles bc then our worry over him would have been more than just over him being missing and would serve a bigger purpose. I dont think he understood lol. Dh almost cryed when he came home.

Cats do go off to find and hold up in small compact spaces if they don't feel good. Why they do this I don't know but with all my experiences with cats, when they are very, very sick they find a small space and hide there.   I have had cats come home after a full week of being away though.  I hope he comes back for you and your family.

ok u all are in my prayers. but i also want to say it could be that tiger knows he is sick or something. my parents had a cat that walked behind my mom with out a lease it go smacked by a neighbor and for like a month all he did was sit in the middle of the street even if cars were coming. one day i got a call that he had been found in the street by another neighbor hit by a car and my dad had to help him go the rest of the way(because there was nothing anyone could do) we believe that cc was sick from the 1st neigbor that hit him and knew my mom and dad wouldnt be able to see him suffer so he took it a upon himself to end it. i really hope thats not the case with ur cat. god bless and lots of love

Tiger will be in my prayers as well...I thought I would mention too that if he is not fixed then he may just be off "romping"....they do that as well...he may even do that if he is fixed considering they still will spray if fixed.  Just keep your head up!
