Ladies, first I hope you all have a fab day. In the old days, I would eat for breakfast bread with butter and cafe con leche (coffee w/milk) I could do that all day. The balance of the day was the usual latin food the rice, the beans, the meat or chicken the problem was that I was always fatigued. I could sleep standing up in a corner. When I divorced my first husband I became worse I ate to help me heal, I did not have anyone to turn to so I turned to food. At the age of 28 I was weighing 185lbs a size 18 in pants. My boss/second father gave me a talk that basically said I can not allow myself eat through my sorrow. But that is pretty much easier said than done. He was very worried about my health and placed me on a diet with a personal friend and trainer he knew. Bascially, I was on a no carb diet, NONE. I was afraid I could not make it but my desire to look different was more than the want to stay the way I looked. I kept a journal and wrote everything I ate and drank. After 6 months I went down to 125lbs.
Then I met my hubby he was a trainer and began to teach me fitness and nutrition. I currently eat five to six times a day. I exercise twice a day. I know that if I can change my eating habits and exercise all of you can do. I thought writing about it would maybe help someone else that might be lost and wondering how to get from Point A to Point B. This is my personal adventure I am not a nutritionist or personal trainer (next on my agenda)
I have two daughters 20 yr old and a 14 yr old. I am remarried to a wonderful man. Through him I have found fitness and have been working towards getting to my best in fitness.
My day starts at 5am I cook for the day (work). I worked about for 1/2 hr running intervals evey minute then butt exercises (I'm latin so that is a bit out of control)
upon waking I had 2 8oz cups of water
Preworkout had Gaspari Pump 250 2 scoops
Brkfast - 1 whole egg and 2 whites, 1 coffee
Mid day - egg whites
Lunch - 1 chicken about 4oz and sweet potatoe with some fat free yogurt
about 4:30pm protein
6pm work out shake right after
