It's the little things you do that matter!
My family has been personally touched by Alzheimer's.
My husband's grandmother fought this disease as long as
she was able until her body just gave up the fight in 2004.
My grandmother and grandfather both have dementia,
which is just a precursor to this devastating disease.
I am sure that most of you either know someone who has
had or does have this horrible disease. It is devastating
to watch those you love wither away and lose themselves
to this disease.
Alzheimer's is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States
today. To help end this epidemic, my family is participating in the
2009 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, an event that raises
funds and awareness to fight this devastating disease.
Since 1989, walkers and donors have raised $230 million for
Alzheimer care, support and research. I hope to raise
at least $200 to help support this cause. I want to do my part –
but I can't do it without your help!

You can help us, even by donating ONE DOLLAR!
It's the little things that make all the difference.
Thank you in advance for your support. Together, we can make
a difference!
