Why???

 Okay so today is my birthday and what not. Guess what I get to do nothing. DH has to work till 9 tonight which we knew but I said last week since you have to work late then we can do something on Wednesday he was like yeah okay sounds good. Guess what not going to happen, he spent 200 bucks on three movies over the weekend so I am stuck home ALONE with the kids all day. Oh wow what a way to spend your b-day right? I don't even have cake mix to even make one for myself. I am just so hurt bc for the first time in the last few years he really would had been able to do something for me and he spends it on himself.I am so upset right now that it isn't even funny yeah okay I'm 27, but still to take the time to think of something to do together w/o the kids would had been nice. HAHAHA who do I think I am not too important for that. Oh well another year gone by.

He used to get me meaningful things, now I get something that is combined as a mothers day gift & he usually is the one that ends up using it... GRRR. Men. Well... Happy Bday anyway :) ((HUGS))

that sucks, that sounds like my bday every year, he usually works & doesn't buy a gift because " I don't know what you want"

I'm sorry...YOUR Birthday is important and you should be treated special by your DH and your children on YOUR day. Since the weekend is coming up....maybe you could celebrate then? I hope so! In the meantime...
