Been in a ton of pain the past couple days along with some more heavy discharge. Yesterday, I had more pain then usual and a gush of fluids. I called my doctor which advised me to go over to Reading hospital OB Triage. I found out that I am not leaking amniotic fluid, which is a plus, but that I am having contractions. They sent me home and I have a doctor appointment today at 4pm. I am put on bed rest and NO SEX!! I am a little confused because they are not doing anything about the contractions. I understand that you get braxton hicks....but not every day... and a lot of them. The doctor said they have to closely monitor me to see if it changed my cervix at all. And that if I am starting to have more then 5 in a half hour to call her. It is hard to tell if I am having a contraction because I am in so much constant pain (dr says from my ligaments stretching). I am thinking I will know if the contractions get more severe. This already puts me in great danger because I have had cervical cancer, and a leap surgery to remove it twice...which means my cervix is thinned. Would they eventually give me medication to stop the contraction?? What can I do??? I am soooo scared!!
