TADPOLES! Lol so we have one of those blow up pools that is about four ft long by 2ft wide and 1ft deep, its got over a hundred tadpoles in it. I discovered them when I went to dump the water out. It was green with algae but when I walked up I saw these tiny things floating around. At first I was afraid they were mosquito larvae. Nope instead it looks like a giants sperm (thought I'd had a joke). Its been about a week and some of them have two tiny legs. Its so cool. The kids get to see how metaphorses works. I thought about bringing a few in the house but I'm afraid the kids might not leave them alone.

those are so fun! when i was little we had a pond and we would get them. they are so cute when they are little froggies

Jul. 31, 2009 at 2:36 AM I read up on taking care of tadpoles and I think I'm going to have to move them. They are supposed to have 3/4th shade. Plus there are pine needles in the water and that's bad. I also now know where all the algae went that was in there!
