My dh and I are the home improvement gurus.  We gutted and renovated our first home, a big Victorian.  Got a bit burnt out and our second home is only 20 yrs old.  It needed very little to be done to it, save updating.  I'm happy with some of our major purchases (inground sprinkler system, woodburning stove) but I am unhappy with the placement of our shed.  If we had put it elsewhere on our lot, we could have stored our camper at our house instead of paying storage fees for it ($60 a month) so there's a big regret and a tax on not planning ahead better. :)
