Thanks for knocking me right off of that cloud, Insanity.
I've been working out almost daily for over a year and a half now. Yoga, pilates, cardio, weights...you name it, I do it. I have pretty decent visible muscles and a doctor recently told me after measuring that I have virtually no body fat. Oh look at me, in my smugness. Smugness that is no more. *sniff*
After doing my fit test for Insanity today I feel like an out of breath lazy couch potato! The number of crazy exercises that I could pull off in a minute ("Suicide Jumps" are appropriately named, btw) were less than what I had hoped. I lasted for 20 minutes of the first 40 minute plyometrics DVD before pretty much falling on the floor. When they said "work out in a puddle of your own sweat" they were NOT kidding around. I guess I've got some definite work to do.
I'm going to keep plugging away at it, as much as it sucked while I was laying in a breathless heap on the floor, it felt good to have a challenge. Wish me luck and dedication and no heart attacks!

I love doing Pilates but will admit the first few times I was aghast at how out of shape my stomach muscles were. Oh well. I lived and so will you, sweat puddle and all ! Have fun!

You are fit. If you can do that much of those videos then you are very fit. It will just push you further.
Just stop it, right this instant! You are making the rest of us, particularly me, look really, really bad. (Way to go, you sexy thing!)
Hmm.. I challenge you and your army to a wrestling match with me and my army! I can't run a marathon to save my life right now while being prego or I'll risk injuring an ankle or knee due to lax joints and extra weight.
I had better stay far away from that workout!! LOL I have a hard time not going all out (former college heptathlete) and that is definitely out of my league right now!! LOL
Way to go- making it for 20 minutes is pretty impressive!!
Keep us updated- let us know if we should work out enough to be able to do that workout!! LOL...
Thanks for making me feel a little better. I felt pretty disappointed in myself yesterday. I would recommend the work-out to anyone...even if you CAN'T do it, you'll whip your butt into shape and burn tons of calories even trying to do it!
