1.) My nephew is still in the hospital, on a feeding tube. My sister is home for the first time last night, and they hit a deer on the way home in their NICE car, so repairs will be expensive. She's upset, but he gained and ounce, so hopefully he's on the way home soon!

2.) Jericho got a Job! Hooray! He's working in a discount clothing store as a stocker. No Idea of his hours or anything yet, today was his third day. Monday was orientation, he worked yesterday, and now today. Won't get his first pay check until after the baby is born, so I'm working until my water breaks, but oh well. Was planning to do that anyway. After a year out of work, we're glad for this. After over 450+ applications, *I* am glad for this. I have better handwriting, so I do most of the filling out.

3.) I have gallstones, and my gallbladder comes out 10 days after the baby is born. Joy. Jericho is thinking this is totally it, because with Tegrim it was my appendix, this one my gallbladder, and I'm running out of organs I can do without. We were discussing trying for a girl still in 5 years or so, but looks like we won't if he has his way. I want a girl, but because of our brothers criminal histories we'd have a hard time adopting (SC is now taking into account extended family in it's adoption proceedings, which makes sense for kids safety, but sucks for us since WE haven't done anything wrong. We also might not be allowed to foster like we'd like to down the road because of them.)

4.) Douglas is fine, measuring big, and we're estimating around 9lbs when he finally comes. We're not inducing unless we go past 42 weeks and something seems wrong. Midwives aren't happy about this, but they aren't the ones giving birth! Not sure if I like the name Douglas anymore, but we'll see how it fits when he comes

5.) Tegrim is AWESOME! Huge, smart, reading at only 22 months old! Addicted to PBS and Calliou is his favorite! Brings me books and demands, "Read now Mommy, in you wap (lap)." Every one of Jericho's friends who NEVER wanted kids before says they want a kid JUST like him. A couple even completely went from "No kids ever" to "the wife and I are trying now". One is due in November. They've ALL seen him naked, because he likes to escape after bath time or during diaper changes and run through the house naked.

Life is okay. Transportation and child care are an issue while we both work, but we'll manage. Our friends Sherri saved our bacon yesterday, I had an attack of gall stones that lasted like 13 hours and was too sick to chase after Tegrim, she took a half day at work to watch him so that I could recuperate and because our sitter wouldn't answer the phone! She's dating Rico's brother Josh, so that makes life even better! A sister in law who's a good friend would be awesome, some stuff about his ex has come out that shows she Wasn't as good a friend as she made out.

Mostly, life is good, and hopefully going to get even better.
