This year I am buying school supplies and school clothes for 3.

My 14 yr old son is picky on what he wears. He is so skinny he hates his knees and won't buy shorts. Only to find out in band he has to wear shorts!! He isn't happy about it. I keep telling him it is better than wearing the normal band uniform in this heat!

My 9 yr old daughter is somewhat picky so finding just the right clothes for her on a budget is challenging. I have already bought tennis shoes for all 3 of them and some of the girls school supplies. My son won't get his supply list until Meet the teacher night.

My 5 yr old daughter....her first time in school. I am a little nervous about that. I am used to her being home with me. lol It is a little harder to find clothes for her. She is a little overweight so she is between sizes right now in shorts/pants. I am trying my best to get her nice clothes, I know how cruel kids can be and I am worried about that for her. She is used to being home with me so I am worried about the first day of school, I am hoping she doesn't cry. That always makes it hard. Justin and Kaylee didn't cry their first day of school but they were used to daycare. Hannah isn't. Kaylee only cried when she had to change schools in the middle of he school year. It made it hard to leave her. I just know I am going to cry on the first day of school this year.

I am dreading August 24th!

I hear you all too well! I have 3 kiddos also going to school this year & I have a 5yr old going off to kindergarten too! My oldest is almost 12 & she is miss fashionista so it has been challenging getting her clothes that she wants & likes, my son is autistic & will only wear certain materials so that is tough & then my 5yr old is kinda in between sizes too. She can wear some 6's but mostly 7/8's but just a 7 in pants, & so on..so on...LOL

I am also a nervous wreck about her going to kindergarten! She has always been home with me & she is the youngest. She is really excited about school & can't wait to go but I have a feeling when the time comes it is going to be tearful! I am looking forward to the kids going back to school but just not looking forward to sending my baby away on the first day.

Well, school shopping might be a struggle but once you get them all in school think how nice and peaceful it will be at home.  I'm sure Hannah will be great.  Just remember - even if they are crying when you leave them, they stop faster if you just go instead of trying to get them to stop.  Really they do.  And you know she will have fun.

Kaitlyn starts school on the 31st.  Such a huge step for us since she's my first but I'm looking forward to it.  I know I'll cry at some point on her first day but then we'll enjoy it.  I'm taking her school shopping and to get her ears pierced today (seems like she wants such grown up things lately!).
