It seems like we just had this same scenario 4 months ago when my mother in law passed away. We just found out last Thursday that my grandmother was not doing well and was in a Hospice unit.  Fortunately we did get up here on Friday and brought in our little Luke to see her.  I am so so glad now that when we came two weeks ago we got a 4 generations picture (not the one I have posted that's on my mom's side - and it's my father's mother who passed).  Now it's going through the viewing and the funeral.  I don't know how Luke is going to handle this.  It will be difficult for all of us.  They actually asked my husband to be a pall bearer, so hopefully I won't be the only one who will hold Luke and the family will help.  I don't have anything black for him, so hopefully the navy outfit I brought will be appropriate.  I can't believe my child is going to his first funeral at only 2 months old... :(  It is sad, but I know she is at peace now.
