Most distinguishing landmark in my city.

The most distinguished landmark in Bismarck would be the State Capitol. It is the tallest structure in town.

 

It is a point of reference anywhere in the city.  My ex-husband had some German officers visiting the area that he was escorting around.  They said they could always get their bearings by seeing the capitol.

I have been there numerous times and inside it is awesome.

They used a lot of marble and brass and it is beautiful.

The view from the top is remarkable too!

My Apartment is on the other side of the big watertower.

"Skyscraper" on the prarie. When I visit there, I follow the capital building to get to where I need to go..lol:)
