For the past two weeks I have spent much time getting my son ready to start school and get him 'hyped up' for it...TO ME, it is a HUGE deal..it IS the start of his school career! I mean in order to move on to the next grade and eventually graduate one must start at the bottom of the barrel; KINDERGARTEN...so, I ask, is Kindergarten a BIG deal to you AS A PARENT?? Do/Did you get your kid all 'hyped up' and 'energized' to start school for the first time?
I mean this morning we called all my close friends and my parents and his father to let them talk to him before catching the bus. My parents called last night to get him 'hyped up' and even during the day my friends are calling to make sure I am okay and to make sure Trevor is doing well(meaning no call from the school). After he gets home I have some of my family( who can come) and friends coming to 'celebrate' with my family and son his first REAL day of school and have cake and ice cream with him/us. IT IS A HUGE DEAL TO ME AND MY FAMILY! My parents did this for me as well(even though I was 11 when I came to them).

Mommy did better then she thought she would:) I didnt cry at the bus stop when he got on, but I did when I got backin the house for a brief minute b/c the house just felt 'different' without Trevor being home too. He LOVED school though!!
I will be making a separate journal post later about his day with pics:)
That is good.... I bet it was hard today but trust me it gets better where you are glad they go to school LOL
