just an update on my previous post and a few other things

Well this past Friday night I got my older son back. I was so heartbroken when he got in my car. He started saying that his dad told he can't come w/me because I'm a bad mom and his half brother is a mean an evil little boy. Ironically it was my ex MIL that dropped him off with me. For almost ten years I was under the impression that she hated my guts. That night my ex showed up threatening me and conveniently left before the cops got there. I filed new custody paperwork today w/o the help of a lawyer. In the city where I live the only way you get legal assistance is if you broke the law. However because I have a lower income the court waived the filing fee for me that was a weight off of my shoulders.

 I told my son that if he is unhappy about anything he just needs to talk to me and I'll fix the problem if I can. He seemed ok with that explanation. 

  My ex MIL apologized to me for the last ten years and said she hopes that the next ten will be better. I'll take it. She's not a bad person really.
