On Turning Two

Connor turned 2 yesterday. The past two years have been incredibly eye-opening to me. I've learned to be a stronger, more independent person.
My son is incredibly bright, and is happy and healthy. At his pediatrician's appointment today, he weighed 30.5 lbs and is 36.5 inches tall. Connor also stunned his pediatrician every time he spoke. What really got her, and made her laugh after picking up her jaw was his response to a question I asked him. I asked "What color is the table, Connor?" His response - "Its a blue table!"
Of course, Connor is still rearfacing in the car. He's under 35 lbs, and is still within the height requirement to fit rearfacing in the carseat that I have, so that is the way he is staying! 5 times safer sounds good to me. Turning him around before I absolutely must would be an unconscionable decision!
