My hubby may have found a job. I am going back to work tomorrow. 2 weeks w/no income or insurance has been stressful, but not as bad as I thought. Too bad I have to pay for a sitter for the next 3 weeks.

School starts in 2 1/2 weeks for my Joshua. He is starting 3rd Grade. This year will be so much better than last year. He will be in a school completely prepared to properly handle his ADHD. He will finally get the help he needs at school. He is on effective medications and he is ready to learn. I am so excited for him. I am positive that this year will not bring any suspensions or expulsions or calls to the police department. The worst is over. He will shine! This year, he bought all green: lunchbox, sandwich box, thermos, scissors, ruler, notebooks, pencil box. He even has green hand sanitizer.

My others, Michael and Joseph are going back to Royal Christian Academy. Joseph is now a second grader. I have no idea what this year will bring for him. His favorite color is black and this is the first year I recall seeing black rulers. So all of his supplies are black. Sounds Emo, doesn't it? Well, Joe is my oddball son! Hey, at least I finally got his hair cut. He did very well last year, but this year will bring new challenges, and he doesn't always do well. Hopefully, he'll use his stubborness to pull himself through rather than hold himself back. He may try to be the class clown this year. He's started leaning that direction..

Michael is starting first and second grade classes. He is technically a first grader, but by the end of the year, may be ready for 3rd grade.  Wow, he's turning 6 in less than two months. So much for being the baby of the house. He's one of the happiest people I've ever met. He can't stay sad or mad for long. Since he won't be held back academically according to his age, there is no telling what he'll accomplish!

This is going to be an exciting school year. I am not going to miss having the boys underfoot constantly. I'll be able to get out of the house a little more, depending on hubby's new job. YAY! Maybe I'll even have the time to sit down and plan a proper cub scout meeting, maybe? Oh, well. At least things are looking up.
