After all the waiting and stress it's offical, I am legally a MOM! We started this process over a year ago when it was discovered that BM was pregnant. Since then we have jumped several hurdles and climbed a mountian or two. Yesterday was completely surreal. It was like a dream. It was as if I was outside myself and watching this happen. I can't explain it in full detail but I think I really couldn't believe this day had finally got here. Then (just like that) it was over. It never sunk in that we were finally though with the struggle until LO woke up last night and it was just me and him. For the first time in a long time, I felt completely at peace. Everything was complete and life was great....
