rare photo captured....

this morning, i was able to capture rare photos of an elusive summer creature. i believe the latin name of it is summerus lazius gluteus. all summer long it lays on the couch. these pics were taken its natural habitat while feeding. it seems to have a pattern day in and day out all summer long of laying around, browsing the internet, and eating whatever is in a bag. it will soon go back into hibernation after this weekend and we wont see it again for another 9 months....

in these photos, u see it up bright and early (aka before 1000!), grazing on the couch, and the final shot is the threating look before attack mode of screeching screams!

Oh my goodness! I've seen one of these creatures in my area too! Be careful! They're surly when approached (especially if the words "shower" or "cleaning " are mentioned). Please proceed with caution.

deadheadjen - u r so right!!!  i had my long lens on and shot it across the house.  even though i was spotted, i had enuf buffer space to hide!  i do believe it just showered since the carpet is now wet thru out the house....thank god school starts next week!
