My thankful thoughts

I am thankful that I woke up to this morning to see a day not promised to me, to see the sun as it arose and the beauty of the flowers and feel the warmth on my skin, 

I am thankful to see my loved one smiling face sweet gentle kisses

Thankful for years and to know I am loved by him once again

I am Thankful to watch my God Daughter grow into a young woman and to see her get her education, thankful she says to Good Morning Mom as she enters into kitchen..

I am Thankful to have you in my life - yes you, the cafemom who reads this or my friend who stopped by to check on me, or the curious who wanted to know what this was about,  some I never seen some I may never know, yet daily we enter each others lives leaving seeds, roots, branches and leaves... as the saying goes ( with my own little twist)....

Some enter your life to be the root the base of all never leaving you, some to help you grow, some to be a branch - a connection in your life, and some to be leaves of beauty and encouragement- but there will be some leaves the will fall away after their job is done. Some for a day some for a season some for a lifetime.... I am thankful for you.

I am thankful that when I was born and into the age I am now I have seen just about all the elements of life, love, pain, sorrow, patience, forgiveness, saddness, joy, and gratefulness.

Thank you for being who you are to know who I am and accept the differences and be thankful
