Day 3 was another good day, but with one slip-up. Both kids spent the night at my best-friend's house so John and I had an impromptu date night. Woot! I knew early in the day that I would be going to Outback and I wasn't sure how to handle it. Part of me wanted to take my Alli pill so that I would be forced to make super healthy decisions or suffer the consequences of 'treatment effects' (um... loose stool, oily spotting, and other gross stuff that I can't bring myself to type out), and part of me just wanted to skip the Alli pill altogether and enjoy my dinner.
I chose the latter.
I still made healthier decisions, which I've NEVER done at Outback. I planned on skipping the Bloomin' Onion, but as soon as the waitress asked if we wanted one the word "Yeah!" came out of my mouth compulsively. I ate some of it, ok, a lot of it. But I had a much healthier meal. A 5 oz (I think?) steak, grilled shrimp and fresh tomatoes. A little bit of salad, but I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side and it was drowning in dressing. I only had a few bites of it. I stopped as soon as I felt full and brought the rest home. I figure I'll slice up that leftover steak and make a salad for lunch.
Ain't I smart???
No treatment effects and the scale didn't move. I was sure it would be up a pound from extra salt or whatever.
It's pouring rain today, so I don't see any exercise in my future, but I'm grocery shopping today and might get everything I need to follow the weekly meal plan in my nutrition guide from the Alli starter pack.
