I am so proud of my little guy!

  My Angel was walking today. Sometimes I see him walk a short distance, but he walked all through the kitchen today(yes he had some help, but that's ok.) His PT is so excited because he is getting so strong and she said he will be walking by late September. He is so hyper all the time and he gets into everything. Today he opened a drawer in the kitchen and got in it. At first when I saw him I thought how cute it was that he was in the drawer, well he couldn't stay still for very long and it wasn't long before he figured out how to stand up in the drawer to reach a cup on the counter. lol. I am so looking forward to seeing him walk. He makes me so proud of him, if there is one thing that he has taught me is to never underestimate these kids. One lady that comes over 1 time a month, who usually works with typically developing children has said that his mind is so right on track with other kids, and he is developing great. He has actually learned to speed crawl, it wasn't that long ago that he was just crawling normal. He is still kind of clumsy though and I worry about him because he hits his head on things sometimes, I swear I cannot take my eyes off him for a minute. Wish me luck ladies as we come up on this new and exciting stage of his development.  I just hope he doesn't run faster then me. I can barely keep up when he crawls. lol

Our lil ones are amazing :)  The only thing I can tell mommies that just find out they are being blessed with an angel like Kimber and Angel is expect the unexpected...because our kids don't have any limits.  They can do anything they set thier minds too :)  I am soooo glad he is almost there and YES he will be running faster then you can catch up faster then you think, ha!  GO ANGEL!!!!!!

That's awesome!  Way to go Angel!  I am still waiting for walking.  Nathan can stand without support, but he does not think he can, so as soon as he notices I let go, he sits down.  He walks all over holding my hands, but won't do it by himself.  I think he doesn't have the confidence, but it sounds like that is no problem for Angel!

That is so great!  Alex was a speed crawler too, and now that he is running, he is getting faster and does keep me on my toes!  But I wouldn't trade it for anything!   Our kids are definitely amazing.  Get ready, Momma and don't forget to eat your Wheaties!

Once Violet started walking, thats when she really excelled! She is running now (with her eyes closed). We cannot keep her in the bed or the carseat. Hudini...Limber and persistent...thats our kids...The extra chromosome went for stubborn, love and strength...I lean on mine sometimes.
