Hello, maternal-type females. Here is how my week is going.

Yesterday morning, I tripped going up some metal stairs and gashed my shin open. Oh, that sucker hurt and yes, I had the air around me crackling with the cussing I did.

"Did you cry?" asked my son later.
"No, but if it had hurt even just a little bit more, I would have," I told him.

I was carrying a stack of cups in my left hand and a full mug of fresh coffee in my right hand. Afterward, I was even more pissed off that I had just wasted all that java. Thank goodness I wasn't carrying my baby, though.

I went to work yesterday afternoon and it was okay. It surprisingly doesn't hurt that much. Here it is:

Yes, perhaps it needed a stitch or two. Can anyone really blame me for saying, "WHY does this crap always happen on the weekend? I don't WANT to go waste hours upon hours in the 'emergency' room today. I have to work; I'm not dying... and who really cares if I scar? I mean, screw it."

So now, I'm just a little bit more gorgeous than ever.

Ouch...  you should have cried it would make the story a little more interesting.. I mean seriously, anyone can cuss but it takes a real woman to cry.. ok well I'm rambling, I think my mind went to sleep when I saw the grass, happens everytime.
