A baby fell out of a two story window!

I saw a baby fall out of a two story apartment window. It was just horrifying! He was pressed up against the screen and I held my breath, hoping he wouldn't fall! I was to far away to get there in time if he fell. I was out taking trash to the dumpster on my way to walking to do some shopping with my two children. I saw the top of his head then heard a loud sound like a watermelon hitting the side walk below the window. Before i could get to the poor baby his mother came out and ran down the stairs picked him up then flew into her apartment. I was yelling at her to see if she needed me to call an ambulance but she ignored me. I ran up to her apartment to ask if the baby was OK or needed an ambulance but when she saw me she slammed the door. I think she was to upset / scared to deal with anyone.  I called my husband to tell him what i saw hoping id hear an ambulance but didn't. He ran out and said go ahead and call anyway then went to the office and got one of the ladies that works there.  She ran up to the apartment and the lady wouldn't answer so she went in. Turns out the lady was really young 19 and was in shock and didn't call an ambulance. She called her mother instead! The poor baby was only 1  1/2 . A little on the small side at that. They said he was badly bruised and had a cut above his eye. When he fell his entire body hit the concrete sidewalk below! I was sooooo worried about him! He was taken to UCD Hospitol. A Major hospital here. He was released two days later with bruising and a fractured brow! that is all!!! Thank God!! It could have been so much worse! I prayed for that poor baby and called everyone i knew and had them pray too! I even asked my physical therapist to pray. In return he asked me to pray for two of his children, so i did. "Oh" The Power Of Prayer! Thank You Jesus!

Your so right about the power that the Lord has!  On the 20th of last month my hubbys cousins moved in with us because their landlord lost their house... Well we live in an OLD house and our windows go to the floor.  Before we moved in our landlord put in new windows and I was thankful he did because we can leave the bottom of the window closed and put the screen on top so just this couldnt happen... Well his cousin didnt know thats how the windows were set up (that the screen was on top)  so he opened the window like a normal window.  I went into my room to change my shirt and as I walked by their room to my horror I find my just turned 1 20 days before perched in the window like a bird!  If I hadnt walked by I could have lost her!
